The political economy of climate change

Event Details

  • Date:
  • Venue: LSE

This event is for LSE Alumni in Tokyo.  Progress on climate change has been slow. Despite the Great Recession, the emergence of shale gas and the rapid growth of renewable energy (from a very low base), emissions continue to rise.  This lecture discusses the scale and nature of the political economy challenge to climate change, with a view to self-interested climate policy and a game-theoretic analysis.
